and the winner is....

SARA COKONIS!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated in the giveaway! I had 38 people who played along, and ironically Sara was lucky number 7! I am hoping to do another giveaway in a few months that will be more male focused- I'm sorry ladies! Believe it or not I have a lot of male viewers that contact me and tell me how much they love the blog and the content that I put out there for everyone. What did you guys think about the giveaway? Is it worth doing again?
I mean, it is free for you to participate!

Before you all leave I just wanted to share a few things that I have been up to lately, the summer has officially begun now that my cousin Katie is home and the weather is getting warm enough for sundaes ice cream! But really, even if there was snow on the ground; I would eat sundaes.

On my birthday, my best friend took me to Nicks on Broadway in Providence, RI. This little restaurant is absolutely amazing! We both indulged in mimosas, french toast, home fries and of course a few little treats from the chef! He sent over some yogurt parfaits and fresh strawberry sorbet for dessert. Derek, the chef and owner of the restaurant is my aunts cousin; and man does he have an amazing talent. The staff stopped by throughout the meal to introduce themselves and to wish me a happy birthday, they were so welcoming and excited to have us. If you haven't tried out this hidden gem in Providence, make it on your summer bucket list; you will not be disappointed!

This mothers day, we celebrated another "soon to be mommy" in the family! My sister, Megan and her boyfriend, Ben, are welcoming a princess into the world this August. The whole family couldn't be any happier for the newest addition, especially Lillian!

Last weekend my sister, Courtney, participated in the Avon 39 mile walk to END breast cancer. I am so proud of her and all the work she has put in to make this walk happen. Not only all of the hard work and training, but the money that their team had raised to donate to end breast cancer is unbelievable! In total, the team of six raised $13,703!! Sadly, I am sure that everyone who is reading this blog has lost someone to a form of cancer, and to say that my sister raised that much money to hopefully someday end breast cancer leaves me speechless. Its amazing to think that you pass people everyday in the market, target, starbucks... and you never know what they are going through. During the avon39, everyone that is there is support one cause. They all want to end cancer. Its such a powerful movement and I am so beyond words proud of my sister and her team for coming together, raising the money and making a change.

It has been a whirlwind of a month. Life has just been craziness and I am just keepin' my head up and not focusing on anything but what is right in-front of me.

Keep smiling guys, its the best makeup in the world.
